Powdery mildew of vine which is caused by Uncinula necator is a widespread disease in the country, especially in Esfahan. The disease infection was evaluated in vineyards of different localities of the region during two continiaus years (1995-1996). The disease severity was scaled fram 0 to 9 on fruit only. It was observed that the infection range is between 3 to 7.75. The usual control measure of the disease is taking place by sulfur, which is not that effective. In order to control the disease effectively, few fungicides were examined, such as Sulfur, Dinocap , Trimidal , WP.Sulfur, Bordeux Mixture and Tapas in four stages, out of which only Trimidal and Topas were more effective than the others.
