Determination of different species of the plants is one of the important studies for correctly use of natural Resources. Collection and determination of Estahan plants and taking them to the Esfahan Research Center Herbarium has been clone Since 1984. For this study, Esfahan province has been ecologically divied and collection of the plants has been done in these Sections. Collected specimen carried to the Herbarium and prepared for determination according to international Standards and Determined using floras. Some information about the Herbarium and the specimen are: - The number of specimen in the Herbarium are 12000. - The number of species wich have been determined from Esfahan province are 1100. - There are about 300 species in different flora from Esfahan but we don't have them and there is many species wich we have determined but their names are not found in flora Iranica. Some of the collected specimen have been determined only at genus or family level. The distribution of different species particularly range plants, forest plants, medicinal plants) and orchard plants have been studied. There is the name of all species wich exist in Esfahan Research Center of Natural Resource and Animal ScienceHerbarium
