Evaluation of irrigated elite barley lines (M-82-4, M-82-12, M-82-14 and M-83-3) under conditions in Isfahan

In order to select best barley lines in on-farm conditions, four lines(MB-82-4, MB-82-12, MB-82-14 and MB-83-3) were evaluated during cropping season of 2008-9. Each line planted in 2000 m2 in Borkharâ__o-Meymeh. Plant density was 350 seed per meter. Three random samples were taken from each barley lines. Results showed that ,lines MB-82-4, MB-82-14 and MB-83-3 had the highest seed production. Mean grain yield of those lines 8030, 77667.7 and 7683.3 Kg/hr ,respectively and check line(MB-82-12) had the lowest production(3583.3 Kg/hr).
