Rangelans Assessment in Different Climate Areas in Iran
2009
Arzani, Hossien
In order to assessment ranges of ١٨٠ sites in the region of steppes and semi- steppes selected and density, coverage, production and range conditions in the steppes in the ١٠ years and over ٧ years was evaluated in semi-steppes. Results of ١٠ years operating in the region steppes statistics showed that the average percentage cover of plants in sites steppes of ١٣.١٦ %. The production of these sites average ١٣٦ kg per hectare respectively. The results of ٧ years of operation in semi-steppes statistics showed that the average percentage of canopy plants was ٣٣%. The average production of these sites ٤١١.٧ kg per hectare is. The results showed that the highest coverage in steepe belonged to form a shrub plants about ٧.٩٧% and the lowest coverage belonged to annuals form with ١.٣ % and the highest coverage in semisteppes belonged shrub approximately ١١.٣% and the lowest belonged forbs with ٦.٣ % respectively. The results showed that sites in steppes and semi-steppes, are significant positive correlation between density and rainfall, and correlation between cover and precipitation, respectively. In total, due to changes in factors affecting selection of plants showed that soil characteristics , the root system and eventually grazing are main factors in determining the behavior of vegetation in front of the special parameters of precipitation. However results showed statistical estimation using data cover, precipitation and soil with relatively high accuracy was used. Overall statistics showed that differences between sites and different years steppes more than half of the region has been even more changes in precipitation due to both space and time in this area is growing. Rangeland condition using four factors in most sites steppes and semi-steppe sites, respectively. Four-factor method in the dry lands should changed to indicate that trend status.
