Investigation on some range plants adaptation in in step area of Markazi provience

The adaptation of 6 plant species was studied. The research was carried out in a split plot experiment based on complete block design with 3 replications, for three years, (2008-2010) in Khoshkrod's floodwater of Zarandieh. The annual mean rainfall at the station of floodwater is about 234.8 mm and the soil texture is loamy with electric conductivity about 0.8-1.3 desi zimense per meter and PH about 8. The method of cultivation was planting with 2.5 meter each other in December 1 and in March 30. Result showed that the Kochia prostrate was survived successfully with 76.9% that highest amount between species, and the minimum of survival was recorded in Halimion verrucifera, there was the maximum survival content (63.5%) was recorded in second years and there was. Significant difference between years. In case of cover percentage and freshness characters, result showed that the highest cover (1.875%) and freshness (2.137) was achieved in Kochia prostrate and the less cover (0.16%) and freshness (0.181) was obtained from Halimion verrucifera, However there was significant difference between species. The MS of cover and freshness in different years showed that there was significant difference between them. The results showed that there was significant difference between them. The results showed that the average quality of cover, freshness and survival was not affect by different time planting and there was no significant difference between them, How ever the amount of cover, freshness and survival of species in autumn, more than spring.
