Citrus Asian Psyllid (CAP) Diaphorina citri is one of the most destructive citrus Pests in tropical and subtropical regions. Although CAP feeds from host plant, but it is more important become of its role in transmission of citrus greening bacterium. During the recent years, CAP has severely spreaded in citrus orchards in south of Iran. The present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of some insecticides on CAP by 3 following methods: 1) Spraying the citrus foliage, 2) Trunk injection, and 3) Soil application. For this purpose two distinct experiments based on RCBD with 10 treatment, including: Nimarin, Nimazal, Actara, Memory, Calipso, Biscaya, Moneto, Lofoks, Confidor and Dimetoat with 3 replication was carried out. Results showed that in foliage spraying, Actara, Memory, Confidor and Dimetoat had the most effect in decrease the CAP population, respectively. but Nimarin and Nimazal had the few effect . Comparing by 3 different insecticide application methods showed that, Actara and Memory insecticides (using spray the foliage) had the most effect in decreasing CAP population also 14 and 30 days after application, Actara, Memory and Confidor(using Trunk injection method0 had the most efficiency compared to other methods and insecticides.
