The present study were conducted on the effect of temperature and host eggs age on biological parameters of Trichogramma chilonis Ishii feeding on Rice meal moth Corcyra cephalonica eggs at Insect pest management program, National Agricultural Research Centre Islamabad. The results revealed that maximum rate of parasitism was 84.3 plus minus 2.26 at 28 plus minus 1 degree C with adult emergence 80.3 plus minus 4.85, while minimum was 39.6 plus minus 4.57 with 34.8 plus minus 3.55 adult emergence at 32 plus minus 1 degree C. The developmental durations decrease with increasing temperature. The results indicate that temperature have significant effect on the biological parameters of T. chilonis. Similarly effect of host eggs age indicates that maximum parasitism's were 79.4 plus minus 4.47 while minimum were 17.3 plus minus 2.83 % on 2 and 72 hours old eggs respectively. The results indicates that host eggs age have significant effect on developmental duration, percent parasitism and adult emergence from parasitoid eggs. The result indicates that both temperature and host eggs age have significant effect on parasitism, adult emergence and developmental durations of T. chilonis.
