Effectiveness of using lactobacteria, iodine and selenium in the diets of broiler chickens | Эффективность использования лактобактерий, йода и селена в рационах цыплят-бройлеров

English. Influence of some feed additives on broiler chicken's nonspecific resistance, growth and survival has been studied. The experimental part of the research was carried out on the clinically healthy day-old Broiler-chickens of the Smena-7 cross. The ration of experimental poultry was supplemented with sodium selenite (0.2 mg Se/1 kg feed) and potassium iodide (0.7 mg K/1 kg feed) mixed with the tetralactobacterin probiotic based on lactobacteria (1.0 g/1 kg feed). The bactericide and trombodefensive activity of blood serum was determined by the photonephelometric method, the lysozyme activity was determined by means of the turbidimetric method. The results of the study showed that chickens providing with supplemented feeds stimulated the 50 g daily gains of broiler chickens that is by 15% more as compared with poultry fed the basic diet. Moreover, the use of studied feed additives resulted in the reduction of feed costs per 1 kg gain in the average by 12% and in the enhancement of stock survival.

Russian. Изучали влияние ряда добавок на неспецифическую резистентность, рост и сохранность цыплят-бройлеров. Экспериментальная часть работы выполнена на клинически здоровых суточных цыплятах-бройлерах кросса Смена-7. В рацион птиц опытных групп были добавлены селенит натрия (0,2 мг Se/кг корма), йодид калия (0,7 мг К/кг корма) и пробиотик на основе лактобактерий, рабочее название тетралактобактерин (1 г/кг корма). Бактерицидную и тромбодефенсинную активность сыворотки крови определяли фотонефелометрическим методом, лизоцимную активность – с помощью турбидиметрического метода. Скармливание цыплятам комбикормов с добавками способствовало получению среднесуточных приростов бройлеров за 42 сут. опыта в 50,0 г, что на 15% больше по сравнению с птицей, получавшей основной рацион. Применение добавок позволило снизить затраты корма на 1 кг прироста живой массы цыплят в среднем на 12% и повысить сохранность поголовья.
