The concentration of nitrite-nitrate compounds in the feed, depending of the location to a source of technogenic (man-made) pollution

Growing in many countries around the world nitrate-nitrite pressure represents threat to animal and human health. The concentrations of nitrate and nitrite in a lush (green feed) and dry forage (hay, straw), harvested in the pastures APC Fleece Kochubeevsky district, Stavropol region, located in the immediate vicinity of the Nevinnomissky association Nitrogen is studied. Regardless of the distance from the pollution source, the concentration of the studied components in the green and in the dry food significantly exceeded MPC (maximum permissible concentration).
