Promotion of plant growth by ACC deaminase-producing plant growth promoting bacteria under stress conditions | Stres koşullarında ACC deaminaze üretici bakteriler tarafından bitki gelişiminin teşvik edilmesi

Plant growth-promoting bacteria that contain the enzyme 1-aminocyclopropane -1-carboxylate deaminase (ACCD) facilitate plant growth and development by decreasing plant ethylene levels, especially following a variety of environmental stresses. This enzyme has been identified in soil bacteria and has been proposed to play a key role in microbe-plant association. If ACC deaminase-containing bacteria can lower plant ethylene levels, treatment of plants with these organisms should provide some protection against the inhibitory effects of these stresses. Decreased ethylene levels allows the plant to be more resistant to a wide variety of environmental stresses. The various kinds of stresses discussed in this review accentuate the biosynthesis of ethylene, which in most cases inhibits plant growth through several mechanisms at molecular level. Application of plant growth-promoting bacteria containing ACC deaminase in agriculture might prove beneficial and could be a sound step towards sustainable crop production. In the present scenario, the application of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria containing ACC deaminase is vital to regulate the plant ethylene.

Turkish. Aminosiklopropan karboksilat deaminaze (ACCD) enzimi içeren bitki gelişimini teşvik eden bakteriler, özellikle farklı çevresel stres koşullarını takiben bitki etilen düzeyini azaltarak bitki büyüme ve gelişmesine katkı sağlamaktadır. Toprak bakterilerinde belirlenen bu enzimin bitki-bakteri birlikteliğinde önemli rol oynadığı ileri sürülmektedir. Bu durumda ACC deaminaze içeren bakteri bitki etilen düzeyini azaltabilirse, uygulama yapılmış bitkilerde stresin engelleyici etkisine karşı koruma sağlanabilecektir. Etilen düzeyinin azalması farklı çevresel streslere karşı bitkilerin daha dayanıklı olmasına imkan sağlamaktadır. Bu derlemede farklı stres çeşitleri, moleküler düzeyde birçok mekanizma ile bitkisel gelişmeyi engelleyen etilen biyosentezi üzerinde durularak tartışılmıştır. ACC deaminaze içeren bitki gelişmesini teşvik edici bakteri uygulamalarının tarımdaki faydaları kanıtlanabilen ve sürdürülebilir bitki üretimi için güvenli güçlü bir adım olabilecektir. Mevcut senaryoya göre ACC deaminaze aktivitesi gösteren bitki gelişimini teşvik edici bakterilerin bitkisel etilenin düzenlenmesinde hayati önem taşımaktadır.
