The requirements for documentation management system in the food industry were presented. Regulatory requirements in the document management are noted in terms of food safety throughout the supply chain. It was emphasized that the companys documentation in the food industry related to food safety is obligatory and is developed and managed according to the regulations and standards of the EU and BG legislations. The Minister of Agriculture and Food and the Minister of Health pursue the state policy in the field of food safety.
