The analysis of results of field experimental models of tillage for maize growing in different agro-ecological regions includes all tillage operations. The soil tillage for maize is treated as a subsystem from ploughing, harrowing and cultivation, hilling, fertilization and herbicide application for weed control. The experiments were set at different soil type (WRBSR, 2006): Haplic Chernozems, Calcic Chernozems, Haplic Vertisols, Chromic Luvisols, Arenic Fluvisols. Depending on the soil type and the specific agro-ecological conditions are offered specific approaches to the treatment of soil for growing corn.
