Response nitrogen and potassium fertilization in Brachiaria brizantha pasture formed in with corn intercropping

50+50+0 and 50+25+25 kg ha-1 of K2O), all distributed along the seed line, in top dressing fertilization (4-6 expanded corn leave) and in the harvest, respectively. In the EXP2 the same design was adopted, but in a 2x5+3 factorial scheme, wich corresponded to the N and K fertilizations, similar to the EXP1, plus the corn monocultives and the fertilized and non-fertilized cv. Vitória. There were no significant effects of the fertilizer applications in the variables analyzed in the intercropped corn, independent of the forage seeding. Despite that, in the simultaneous seeding, the corn held the growth of the pasture. Bigger doses and applications of fertilizers in cv. Vitória intercropped increased the forage yield, independent of the seeding period.

Objetivou-se neste estudo avaliar os efeitos das adubações nitrogenada e potássica no consórcio entre o milho (DOW 657 e AG2040) e a Brachiaria brizantha cv. Vitória sobre a produção das espécies consorciadas e a formação de pasto. Foram realizados dois experimentos em campo, em que a cv. Vitória foi consorciada com milho em arranjo substitutivo (EXP1), semeada na fase reprodutiva do milho

em outro ensaio a semeadura da forrageira foi simultânea ao milho (EXP2). No EXP1 foi utilizado o delineamento experimental em blocos casualizados, com quatro repetições, arranjados em esquema fatorial 2x5+2, sendo o primeiro fator constituído pelas doses da adubação nitrogenada (30+90+0 e 30+90+30 kg ha-1 de N) e o segundo fator pelas doses de potássio (25+25+0

50+50+0 e 50+25+25 kg ha-1 de K2O), sendo aplicados na semeadura, em cobertura no estádio de 4-6 folhas expandidas do milho e na colheita do milho, respectivamente, mais os monocultivos do milho e da cv. Vitória. No EXP2 foi utilizado o mesmo delineamento em esquema fatorial 2x5+3, que corresponderam às aplicações de N e K semelhante ao EXP1, mais os monocultivos do milho e da cv. Vitória adubada e não adubada. Não houve efeitos significativos das adubações nas variáveis avaliadas no milho consorciado, independente da época de semeadura da forrageira. Por outro lado, em semeadura simultânea a presença do milho atrasou o estabelecimento da pastagem. Maiores doses e parcelamentos das adubações na cv. Vitória estabelecida pelo consórcio incrementaram seu rendimento forrageiro, independente da época de semeadura da mesma.
