The objective of this research was to know the effect of worm dung dose usage on the growth and yield of three sweet corn varieties (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). The experiment was conducted from June until August 2006, in the experimental field of the Muhammadiyah University, Malang, that lies at approx. 550 m asl with Alluvial soil type. Split plot design with three replications has been used in the experiment. Main plot was sweet corn varieties, V1: Bisi Sweet, V2: Honey Jean 0.2, and V3: Virginia 2. Sub plot with worm dung dose had five levels, K0: common worm dung fertilizer, K1: 3 t/ha, K2: 5 t/ha and K3: 7 t/ha and K 4: NPK standard dosage. This observation result showed that there was an interaction between three sweet corn varieties and worm dung dosage to the growth of plant height at 34 and 44 DAP (days after planting) and yield of sweet corn varieties.
