Research was conducted to evaluate the performance of women empowering program via Bank Gakin in the Jember Regency. Besides it was also done to know the motive of the women to join the program, and to know contribution of those women to the welfare of their families. The result showed that the program could eliminate the number of family who followed user (from 72 percent to nil). On the other hand the number of family who joined the program increased up to 48 percent. All of them increased their income because in increasing creativity due to provisions of capital. Low income, primary need which was not fulfilled, desire to increase nutritive value, job of their husband all determined the motive to join the program
