Crop molecular breeding is now considered as a complementary strategy in developing new varieties and traits. Integration or molecular approaches in the classic breeding programs has enhanced the breeding plans. Early maturity is a crucial trait in drought prone Regions. The goal or the present investigation was to find molecular markers tightly linked to early maturity loci. To this end, R2 population derived Room a cross between two pure lines, Ultan (late maturity) and Phalestini (early maturity) was cultivated and leer samples were taken. Allowing the individual for selfing, F3 Families were derived which were cultivated and evaluated for the desired trait, time to maturity or the first five capsules per plant. The average values or the trait within each F3 family were stored as the phenotypic value or the individual R2 plants. In the F2 population, both parental limits for the trait were observed. DNA extraction form the sampled leaves was successfully extracted. Among 44 SSR and 4 ISSR markers which were evaluated, only 22 markers were polymorphic between the two parents. This number or polymorphic markers is not sufficient for construction or a genetic map. Lack or high extent polymorphic between the two distinctly different parents may reveal that evolution in working in coding sequences which usually do not possesses Repetitive sequences. As a Result, molecular analysis in the field or phenotypic polymorphism has to avoid in or non-coding related regions. Moreover, the possible presence of epigenetic variation between the tow parents was indicated.
