Preliminary evaluation and yield comparison of red and white bean lines.

In this study 36 lines of red and white bean outcome from segregated generations experiments from Khomein, Lordegan and Boroujerd stations that for study and elementary comparisons with four check Goli, Sayad,pak and Daneshkadeh cultivars were planted .Seeds of every line planted in two lines. Fertilization and irrigation was same for treatments. Evaluated traits including flowering and pod ripening time, plant height, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, 100 seed weight and yield were measured. Finally, with draw the chart, 15 superior lines were selected for adaptability experiments in several locations. Keywords: Red bean , white bean , segregation generation, yield
