Study on lines and varieties red & chitti beans.

This research included of two experiments: . 1.study and comparison between cultivars and lines of chitti bean: In this experiment 80 advanced lines of chitti bean with a check ( Khomeine) in a yield comparison basic design were studied. The -:esults showed that yield of cmb 14 line with 7116.6 Kg/ha in comparison to check cultivar with 2800 Kglha was the highest one. By the way 14 lines in this experiment produced more seed yield to the control. The results.. also showed that seed yield bad positive correlation ( 0.412) at %1 level with number of branches per plant. The branches/plant number had positive correlantion (0.217) at %l,level with plant type but plant heighJ had positive correlation (0.335) at %1 level. 2. study and comparison between cultivars and lines of red bean: In this experiment 80 advanced lines of chitti bean with a check ( Sayyad, Akhtar, Naz) in a yield comparison basic design were studied. The results showed that yield of DRK 97 line with 3867 Kg/ha in comparison to cbeck clIltivar (Akhtar) with 3493 Kg/ha was the highest one. The results also showed that seed yield had positive correlation at 'Ynt level with 100 seed weight number of pods plant respectively (0.433& 0.444) Also with time of flowering sbowed positive correlation' ( 0.366) at % S level.
