Evaluation of wheat yield genotypes under salt stress in Golestan province.

This experiment was conducted for selection of wheat genotypes in saline lands of the north of Golestan province in 2010-2011. Genotypes were from advanced genotypes of Caspain Sea region (warm and moderate climate of Caspain Sea) and CIMMYT genotypes. This study was conducted in four esperiments based on RCBD design in 3 replications in non saline condition (Gorgan station with EC 2dS/m) and saline condition (Mazrae nemoneh with EC 10 dS/m) in two lines with one meter length. Genotypes were sown with 350 grain per square meter base on 1000 kernel weight and Morvarid, Gonbad and Darya were used as check. Among genotypes of AR1 experiment genotype number 13, 15 and 19 were selected and from AR2 experiment genotypes number 20, 19, 18, 16, 15, 13 and 8 were selected and from N-88 genotypes number 4, 7, 9 and 11 were selected. From N-89 experiment genotypes number 12 was selected. The best genotype will introduce to farmers.
