In this study, four planting dates ( July 11 , 21 and August 1, 11) and three maize cultivars ( ksc 260 , ksc 370 and ksc 400 ) tested during 2011 and 2012 at the Agricultural Research Station of Haji Abad using randomized complete block design as a split plot with four replications. Results showed that planting date were significant (P 0.1). Planting date of August 1 with an average yield of 9.958 tons per hectare produced the highest yield. There was significant different at 1% level among cultivars. ksc 400 produced 9.781 ton per hectare. The interaction effect between planting date and cultivars was not significant. The highest grain yield was obtained 10.240 ton per hectare from ksc 400 and planting date at August 1.
