Study of agronomic traits of new sesame cultivars and lines in different sowing dates

In order to obtain the best of sowing date and variety an experiment was conducted with using split- plot design on randomized complete block with three replication in zahk Agricultural Research station of zabol in spring (2012 and 2014) years. The experimental treatments were sowing date in five level including D1= 25 Apr., D2= 15 May. D3= 5 Jun D4= 26 Jun and D5=16 July as main plots and cultivar including V1: Darab 1, V2: Darab 1, V3: Dashtestan 2 and V4: Local (Harat) as subplots. The results of compound variance analysis indicated that year, sowing date and varieties effects were significant on seed yield, yield components and most traits agronomy. seed yield, yield components such as number capsule in plant and grain 1000 weight was higher in second year than first year. Based on mean comparison highest seed yield was obtained with mean 828 and 806 kg/ha in. in four sowing dates, 5 Jun, and first sowing date D1= 25 Apr. and the lowest of seed yield was obtained with mean 609 kg/ha in three sowing date, ., D3= 5 Jun. In within cultivars, Darab 1 with mean 814 kg/ha had highest seed yield and lowest seed production belonged to Dashtestan cultivar with 706 kg/ha. Interaction effect sowing dateΧ variety was significant on seed yield in %1 level. So in four sowing dates, 5 Jun highest seed yield belonged to Darab 1 and local cultivars. The result simple correlation of traits measured showed that seed yield with number of capsule per plant(r=0.67**), had highest correlation of positive and significant. Based on results be can concludes that. sowing dates Ordibehesht early (25 Apr) and tirma early (26 Jun), together whit varieties Darab 1 and local line recommendable in condition sistan region
