In order to evaluate the efficacy of fuzat (glyphosate 41% SL) for weed control in orchards (with emphasis on control of perennial weeds), an experiment was conducted with 12 treatments and four replications in randomized complete block design at four region (Hashtgerd, Zanjan, Mazandaran and Dezful) in 2013. Twelve treatments were Fuzat (glyphosate 41% SL) 8, 10 and 12 lit/ha with and without ammonium sulphate 2%, Rundup (glyphosate 41% SL) 6.and 8 lit/ha with and without ammonium sulphate 2% and weedmaster (glyphosate 36% SC) 6 and 8 lit/ha. The amount of water equivalent to 200 lit/ha was considered. The results showed that the reduction of dry weight and number of perennial weeds in treatment Fuzat 10 lit/ha + ammonium sulphate 2%, Fuzat 12 lit/ha + ammonium sulphate 2% and Rundap 8 lit/ha + ammonium sulphate 2% had not significant differences ,but in some cases, performance of Rundap 8 lit/ha + ammonium sulphate 2% was better. Weedmaster in 6 and 8 lit/ha dose compared with Fuzat and Rundup unable to control completely perennial weeds. Application Randap 8 liters + 2% ammonium sulfate can be reduced by as much as 2 to 4 lit/ha of herbicide and reduce the cost of weed management in orchards and also environment will be less polluted.
