In order to determine the best planting date and seeding rate o two triticale genotype in Mashhad climate condition on 2007-2009 growing season, an experiment was carried out, using a Split-Plot design based on Randomized Complete Block Design with three replication, at Torogh Agricultural Research Center, Mashhad, Iran. Main plots devoted to ive seeding dates and actorial combination o three seeding rate and two triticale genotype were as sub plot. The result showed, the eect o planting date on grain yield, biological yield, harvest index (HI), spike.m-2, total tiller number per plant, ertile tiller number per plant, tiller ertility percent, days to heading, days to maturity and grain illing was signiicant. Highest grain yield was recorded rom second planting date (October 22) and delay in planting date rom second planting date (October 22) to ith planting date (December 6) decreased grain yield about 25%. The eect o seeding rate on biological yield, total tiller number per plant and ertile tiller number per plant was signiicant too. Despite there was not any signiicant dierences among seeding rates or grain yield and the 250 seeds per m2 was not dierent rom 650 seeds per m2. With increasing seed rate, total tiller and ertile tiller were decreased but tiller ertility percent was not aected by this actor. Signiicant dierences were not observed between two genotype concerning all traits. Key words: Triticale, genotype, grain yield, planting date, seeding rate.
