Geographical position and suitable climatic of Abadan and Khoramshare in terms of production and trade of Date were main important reasons for provides active presence in international markets. These areas were destroyed during and after Iran and Iraq war and now needs rebuild. Numerous and complex factors that contribute towards rebuilding the affected areas should be considered simultaneously. This research has two main parts. Date palm Strategy based on internal factors (Strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (Opportunities and Threats) Practical recommendations based on the results of field studies and researches are summarized. The results of investigation the completed questionnaires by the participants of Date Palm production and trade, through SWOT method showed. Based on this analysis, despite many problems in these areas there are so many opportunities for development. The main strategy is used the opportunities to overcome weakness. The coefficient of quantities strategy planting matrix equally 23.55, 20.74, 18.44, 11.51 and 6.67 to determine that date palm area improvement, investment increasing, marketing development, date palm trader arrested and marketing influence are the main strategies respectively. In addition, the date palm varieties compatibility, production cost, marketing and trade are the main factors that are important for development programs. Based these factors the Estamaran and Berhee as native and Deglate noor and Medghol as new varieties are recommended for Development of Date Palm cultivated area.
