In any manufacturing process or business, the operational cost have a significant impact on profits. Costs of production have increased with alarming proportion since the economic crisis in 1997. As we come into difficult period, it is time that we do a serious review of where we are now in the palm fruit processing business, with the primary objective of remaining profitable in the years ahead. The purpose of this presentation is to share with you the operational cost comparison between a conventional mill and a new mill. It is necessary for us to appreciate our past and present achievements in order to understand and prepare our future strategy to reduce operational cost.
