Food Safety of Russia and its Legal Regulation

In the present article the institute of food safety, its formation and legislative formation in the Russian Federation is considered. Importance of safety in the sphere of food for the country, its role in the maintenance of the independence of this state in foreign and internal affairs is noted. On the basis of the complex analysis of regulations in the field of food safety, author drew conclusion on the need of the domestic legislation systematization for more effective safety of the state.
