English. Trialeurades vaporariorum (Westwood) is one of the most important pests of plants grown under cover, especially causing damage on vegetables. Chemical control is mainly used against this pest. This study was conducted in 2011, to determine the effects of some commonly used pesticides against T. vaporariorum under laboratory conditions. T. vaporariorum individuals were reared on eggplant in an insectarium and effects of deltamethrin, imidacloprid, amitraz, acetamiprid and azadirachtin on the pest were determined by spraying and dipping methods. Living and dead insects on the leaves were counted one week after pesticide applications.
