The monograph analyzes theoretical and methodological aspects of the competitiveness of agricultural processing enterprises, evaluates factors and conditions of competitiveness of the processing industry of Belarusian agriculture, researches the process of formation of competitive potential of agricultural processing enterprises and competitive potential of agricultural sector of Belarus. Theoretical approaches to the assessment of the competitive potential of processing agricultural enterprises are outlined, methods of assessing the competitive capacity of the processing industry are enumerated, and development of processing industries of agriculture of the Republic of Belarus is substantiated. The role of processing industry in improving of the competitiveness of agro-food sector in Belarus is analyzed; the conditions increasing the competitive potential of processing industries in the long term are determined. Guidelines for the implementation of integrated quality systems in processing plants and methodology to evaluate the synergistic effects of the creation of integrated units on the basis of agricultural processing enterprises are developed; the role of the integration processes in enhancing of the competitiveness of agricultural processing enterprises is determined. Organizational and economic mechanism of development of innovative agricultural processing industry (for example, the dairy industry) in Belarus is offered.
