Varietal response of buckwheat to the use of fusilade forte herbicide | Сортовая реакция гречихи на применение гербицида фюзилад форте

In course of research there was studied the effectiveness of Fusilade Forte herbicide (1.5 l/ha), used to keep down grass weeds in buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum) crops on the background of harrowing and the use of pre-sprouting or post-sprouting herbicides. The field experiments were realized in 2007-2011 in the Republic of Belarus in Smolevichi region on sod-podzolic sabulous soil. As a result of realized research there was revealed that the preparation provided grain yield increase in most studied buckwheat varieties. On the crops of Vlada, Karmen and Iliya varieties this preparation should be used with account of moisture supply in plants before herbicide use, soil fertility level, and the previous use of herbicides, as in the conditions of excessive moisture, in the soil with low humus content, under the influence of Fusilade Forte, grain yield of these varieties could decrease. The agrochemical characteristics of plough layer of trial plots, calculation of hydrothermal coefficient in vegetation period of buckwheat, the influence of the herbicide on crop yield of buckwheat grain, the influence of harrowing and Fusilade Forte, pre-sprouting herbicides, post-sprouting herbicides and Fusilade Forte on crop yield of various varieties of buckwheat were presented.
