Ecdysis and metamorphosis of insects appear the important processes, allowing normal development of the species and providing adaptation to the changeable environment. Disturbance of normal course of ecdysis and metamorphosis under the influence of exogenous ecdysteroids leads to insects' death. Substances influence on all stages of insects' development, but especially on larvae, causing death. Therefore, the main goal of the research is determination of the influence of agonists of ecdysteroids on biochemical indices of (Lymantria dispar) and (Antheraea pernyi). Agonists of ecdysteroids influence the metabolism of Lymantria dispar and Antheraea pernyi. This influence can be traced in low content of grape sugar, triglycerides and protein in homogenate of caterpillars and chrysalises. This effect is also seen in low activity of enzymes such as amylase, glutamyltransferase, aspartate aminotransferase. This effect is strongly exhibited in oligophagous, i.e. Antheraea pernyi on an untradition forage plant Betula pendula.
