Horizontal transfer of the genes of naphthalene biodegradation with conjunctive D-plasmid pNL 10 of IncP-9 group (beta-subgroup) to cells of collection and natural strains of microorganisms is investigated. It is shown that transposon containing variant of plasmid pNL 10 is able to be transmitted and inherited in the broad range of bacteria of genera Pseudomonas (P. putida, P. fluorescens, P. stutzery, P. lachrimans, P. chlororaphis, P. mendocina, P. vignae, P. aureofaciens, P. aurantiaca). The dependence of the naphthalene biodegradation rates by constructed plasmid-bearing strains in the model soil system on the species of bacterial host is established. The conjugative transfer of the plasmid pNL 10 is demonstrated in the model natural soil system. The data shows that obtaining of the ability to degrade naphthalene gives a selective advantage to ubiquitous bacteria Pseudomonas under the stress environmental conditions and can be provided for horizontal transfer of genes of naphthalene biodegradation by plasmids of IncP-9 group.
