The effect of different combinations of supporting media and sucrose concentration on the qualitative composition of thawed embryos of cattle, frozen in 1.4 M glycerol solution or a 1.5 M solution of ethylene glycol was studied, allowing to retain their viability after depreservationin 90,9-100% of cases. Researches are lead in the "Science-practical centre on animal breeding of the National academy of sciences of Belarus", and also in republic breeding facilities: "Breeding factory Korelichi" (Grodno area), "Breeding factory Krasnaya zvezda", "ZhodinoAgroPlemehlita", "Agrokombinat Snov" in the Minsk area. The method of direct transplantation of cattle germs with use as cryoprotectors 1,4М glycerin solution in a combination with 1М saccharose solution or 1,5М etilenglicole solution and a nutrient medium in the ratio 1:1:1 or 2:1:2 at its freezing is advanced on the basis of the received results
