Hybrid pepper is new genetic materials that adaptability on water limitation not known yet. The research was conducted at Pakuwon experimental station, Indonesia spice and industrial crops Research institute, Sukabumi, from May to December 2009. The objective of the research was to find out resistances of some hybrid peppers to water requirement. The experimental design used Randomized Completely Block Design in factorial pattern, with three replication, plot size is four plant/pot, first treatment was three pepper variety (v), e.g. v1=LH 37-16, v2=LH N2BK(1) and v3=Natar 1 and second treatment was four levels of watering (B), e.g. B1=25 percent, B2=50 percent, B3=75 percent and B4=100 percent of water field capacity. The research conducted at plastic house using bush pepper, planted in a pot pilled with soil media ( soil and organic matter in 1:1 ratio mixture ) and 625 gr/pot (1ton/ha zeolite) with moisture contents 56-60 percent. Watering done every four days, fertilizer done based on four application/year are 10, 20,30 and 40 g NPK 12-12-17-2. Variable observed were number of branch (shoot), number of leaf per branch, number of note per branch, leaf length, leaf width, plant height, soil water content, fresh and dry weight of plant and leaf's ABA and proline level content. The result showed that based on absicic acid and prolin contents the pepper hybrid LH 37-16 and LH N2BK(1) has more tolerant to water limitation then Natar 1, but based on vegetative and biomass growth not significantly different until three months after planting.
