To obtain high yielding and stable cultivars of durum wheat lines with desirable grain quality and resistant to diseases, 18 durum elite genotypes originated from Advanced Durum Yield Trial in warm region (ADYT-W90) along with two checks, Behrang and Chamran were tested in 3 locations (Khorram Abad, Darab and Dezfol research stations) in warm climates of Iran in two crop season years(2012-2014). The experiments were conducted in a RCBD design with 3 replications. Each plot included of 6 rows with row spacing of about 20cm. Seed rate was 450 seeds/m2. At each station fertilizer, irrigation and chemical application were undertaken according to the technical recommendations. A mixture of Puma Super and Granestar was used for controlling of weeds. Phenological and agronomical characteristics such as days to heading and maturity, plant height, lodging and response to diseases (Yellow rust…) were recorded. After harvesting the yield of genotypes were recorded. By using average of yield, ranking (R) and standard deviation of ranks (SDR), two lines (Dw-91-6 and Dw-91-17) were selected to be tested in On-farm yield trials of next crop season.
