Preparation and Isolation of Theileria Lestoqardi Sporozoites for challenging purpose.

Malignant sheep and goats theileriosis is one of the most important protozoan disease of sheep in Iran. Therefore, to achieve effective vaccine and also provide a suitable method for challenging and evaluation vaccine is important. This study was aimed to preparation Theileria lestoquardi sporozoite stabilate to use for challenging. The breeding ticks was infected by feeding on carrier sheep and Theileria lestoquardi sporozoite stabilate was prepared through homogeneous infected ticks. Then, The stabilate was used either to production cell line or to assay challenge test . The results of this investigation leaded to production of a cell line was called Booket and also lethal challenge was performed by injection homogeneous tissue of infected ticks into susceptible sheep.
