This paper presents data on the ecological diversity of macromycetes on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, which are divided into three ecotrophic categories by the feeding mode: symbiotrophic, saprotrophic, and saproparasites. It describes in detail the ecological features of saprotrophic macromycetes belonging to six subgroups: lignicolous, humicolous, litter saprotrophic, coprophilia, karbophilia, and karpophilia. The share of saprotrophic subgroups is different: humicolous (47%) and lignicolous ones (41%) turned out to be dominant; while the share of litter saprotrophic ones was significantly lower (9%). Other subgroups have a relatively low rate making 3%.
