The influence of millimeter waves of extremely high frequency on the biosynthetic activity of yeasts Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNMN-Y-20 depending on the irradiation duration has been assessed. Thus, the maximum content of biomass, proteins, polysaccharides, beta-glucans, and catalase has accumulated during the irradiation of the yeast strain with millimeter waves at a frequency of 53.33 GHz for 15-20 min. A high degree of dependence (dependency correlation varies from square R = 0.633 to square R = 0.949) between the quantitative content of cellular components of yeasts has been established, which attests to the fact that the biosynthetic processes are influenced by millimeter waves. A method has been proposed for the first time to increase the content of beta- glucans in yeasts using high-frequency millimeter waves as a stimulating factor.
