Present study describes the evaluation of some environmentally sound tactics towards the management of sugarcane stem borer (Chilo infuscatellus). Different approaches were applied, Trichogramma cards, Detrashing, Light traps and Chemical control. The effects were found on the basis of incidence and intensity of Chilo infuscatellus. It was concluded from the results that the minimum infestation (8.71%) was recorded in T7 (Trichogramma cards + Detrashing + Light traps) which was statically at par with those of T3 (Trichogramma cards + Light Traps), T1 (Trichogramma cards + Detrashing) and T4 (Detrashing + Chemical control) with increase in percent infestation 8.92%, 9.34% and 9.74% respectively. The treatment T8 (Trichogramma cards + Chemical control + Light traps) showed 10.46% infestation was significant different from T6 (Trichogramma cards + Detrashing + Chemical control), T9 (Chemical control + Light trap + Detrashing) with infestation 11.66% and 11.86%. The treatment T2 (Trichogramma cards + Chemical control) with infestation 12.39% was statically at par with those of T5 (Detrashing + light traps) with infestation (12.82%). The maximum infestation was observed in control treatment with 25.45%. The minimum infestation (11.66%) was recorded after 10 days interval while maximum infestation (12.53%) was observed after 20 days interval.
