Russian. Проведен анализ биологических потребностей культуры черешни. Среди южных косточковых плодовых культур черешня по зимостойкости уступает только сливе. Древесина ее переносит температуру до -28…-30 град. С. Основными лимитирующими факторами климата являются заморозки в весенний период, жара и засуха - в летний. Черешня - самая требовательная к почвам и климату из косточковых культур. Ей необходимы рыхлые почвы (неблагоприятны тяжело суглинистые, глинистые, слитые) и оптимальная влажность воздуха. В целом для возделывания черешни пригодны местности, где средняя из абсолютных годовых температур воздуха опускается не ниже -23 град. С и не более чем в 20% зим, относительная влажность воздуха во время созревания не поднимается выше 70%. На основе геоинформационных технологий изучена пригодность земель юга России к возделыванию черешни по климатическим, почвенным и рельефным факторам. Составлены соответствующие компьютерные карты, на которых отмечены пригодные и ограниченно пригодные территории в Краснодарском и Ставропольском краях, Кабардино-Балкарии, Дагестане.

English. The analysis of biological requirements of the sweet cherry culture was carried out. Among the southern stone fruit crops, the sweet cherry is inferior by the winter hardiness only in comparison with plum. Its wood can bear the temperature of-28…-30 deg C. The major limiting factors of climate are frosts during the spring period, heat and a drought - in summer. Sweet cherry is the most demanding to soils and climate of all stone fruit crops. It needs the loose soil, don't like hard loamy, clay, and decanted ones, and optimal relative humidity of air. In general, territories where average absolute annual air temperature falls not lower than -23 deg C and no more than in 20% of winters, and the relative humidity of air during maturing does not rise higher than 70%, are suitable for sweet cherry cultivation. The suitability of lands in the south of Russia for sweet cherry cultivation on climatic, soil and relief factors is studied on the basis of geoinformational technologies. The corresponding computer maps on which suitable and limitedly suitable territories in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions, Kabardino-Balkaria, and Dagestan are marked.
