Milk performance of imported Holstein cows and the prospects of their improvement under the conditions of the Yaroslavl Region

English. In 2012 Holstein heifers were bought inDenmark and Holland with estimated performance of at least 7000-8000 kg of milk. The animals in the number of 1766 heads were brought to the Yaroslavl region at a newly created agricultural enterprise. Investigated was the milk performance of these animals related to their genetic lines, identified were the ways to improve the offspring quality. The study target included Holstein cows of Danish and Dutch breeding

increase productive longevity, reduce service period and increase ease of calving.

Russian. the studies were conducted by conventional animal science methods. It is shown that the imported animals are well adapted to the conditions of the farm which is indirectly confirmed by their high milk yields making on the average 7700 kg per cow for 305 days of the first lactation. At the same time the trial cows had low conception rate which might be caused by the stress at the transportation and changing environment. The offspring of the Vis Back Ideal line had the best indices. The“Alta GPS” software was used to compile the herd genetic profile of the farm and select the servicing bulls Bomaz AltaNetworth (USAM000060597003), Beyercrest AltaReliant-ET (USAM000062959880) and Bosside AltaRoss-ET (USAM000062085114) using the sperm of which can improve the following indices of the offspring: milk performance, fat and protein content in milk, exterior traits (height at the shoulder, pelvis width, udder depth and width, stronger limbs)

В 2012 г. в Дании и Голландии были закуплены нетели голштинской породы с планируемой продуктивностью не менее 7000-8000 кг молока. Животные в количестве 1766 гол. были завезены в Ярославскую область на вновь создаваемое с.-х. предприятие. Изучали молочную продуктивность данных животных в связи с их линейной принадлежностью, определяли способы улучшения качества потомства от них. Объектом исследований послужили коровы голштинской породы датской и голландской селекции, исследования проводились общепринятыми зоотехническими методами. Показано, что импортированные животные хорошо приспособились к условиям хозяйства, что косвенно подтверждается и их высокой молочной продуктивностью, которая в среднем составила 7700 кг молока за 305 дней первой лактации. В то же время подопытные коровы имели низкую оплодотворяемость, что может быть результатом перенесённого стресса при перевозке и смене условий содержания. Лучшие показатели были у потомков линии Вис Бэк Айдиал. При помощи компьютерной программы "Alta GPS" был составлен генетический профиль стада хозяйства и подобраны быки-производители Bomaz AltaNetworth (USAM000060597003), Beyercrest AltaReliant-ET (USAM000062959880) и Bosside AltaRoss-ET (USAM000062085114), использование семени которых может улучшить такие показатели потомства, как молочная продуктивность, содержание жира и белка в молоке, телосложение животных (увеличение высоты в холке, ширины таза, глубины и ширины вымени, укрепление конечностей), увеличение продуктивного долголетия, уменьшение сервис-периода и повышение лёгкости отёлов.
