The assessment of the variety and rootstock genotypes interaction in apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) grafted trees using biometric methods | Оценка взаимодействия генотипов привоя и подвоя яблони с использованием биометрических методов

С целью прогнозирования урожайности яблони (Malus domestica Borkh.) исследована возможность математического моделирования закономерностей влияния привоя и подвоя плодового дерева на формирование количественных признаков привитого растения. Использовали формулы, известные в биометрической генетике, для аналогичных показателей родителей и их гибридов F1, Для анализа использовали данные, полученные в Прикубанской зоне Краснодарского края за 22 года (1982-2003). Изучали привойно-подвойные комбинации (ППК), созданные на основе 4 сортов (привоев) яблони (Айдаред, Голден Делишес, Джонатан, Корей) и 7 подвоев (I-48-1, I-47-55, I-48-46, М2, М3, М4, М7). Учитывали урожайность, ширину кроны в направлениях "север-юг" и "запад-восток", высоту деревьев, диаметр штамба. Было статистически доказано влияние года исследований, генотипа сорта (привоя), генотипа подвоя и их взаимодействия во всех сочетаниях на урожайность ППК. Наибольший эффект имеют условия года (37% от общей дисперсии). Влияние сорта привоя на урожайность ППК проявляется периодически раз в несколько лет. Доли влияния подвоя и совокупного влияния сорта и подвоя примерно равнозначны. При построении модели прогнозирования урожайности ППК наиболее эффективным представляется множественный линейный регрессионный анализ с линеаризованной моделью, который позволяет преодолеть неадекватность линейных моделей. С помощью построения гистограммы остатков (histogram of residual) доказано, что их распределение соответствует нормальному. Это дает основание для построения адекватной нелинейной (квадратичной) модели, описывающей зависимость урожайности деревьев ППК от морфоанатомических особенностей привитых деревьев. Полученные результаты позволят более обоснованно управлять стабильностью и эффективностью продукционного процесса у многолетних с.-х. культур.

English. To forecast the productivity of apple trees (Malus domestica Borkh.), the possibility of math modeling for the prediction of variety and rootstock influence on formation of quantitative traits in grafted plants using formulas offered by biometric genetics to estimate the same indexes in parent forms and their F1 hybrids were studied. The data of apple trees productivity obtained in Prikubanskaya zone of Krasnodar region for 22 years (1983-2003) were analyzed. It was studied the variety-rootstock combinations (VRC) of four apple varieties (Idared, Golden Delicious, Jonathan, Korah) as scions and seven rootstocks (I-48-1, I-47-55, I-48-46, M2 , M3, M4, M7) with regard to yields, the crown width (North -South and West-East), the tree height and trunk diameter. An impact of the year conditions, the genotypes of the variety and the rootstock and their interaction on the yield of VRCs was proven using math statistics. The conditions of the year have the greatest effect (37% of the total variance). Strength of the variety influence on the VRC yield was determined to be expressed with a several years interval. The rate of the rootstock impact and the cumulative effect of the scion and the rootstock were found to be roughly equial. The forecasting models of VRC productivity based on multiple linear regression analysis with a linearized model is more effective and promising approach which takes into account the inadequacy of linear models. The histogram of residuals showed their normal distribution. It provides a basis for adequate non-linear (quadratic) model of the yield production in each VRC as related to morphological and anatomical characteristics of grafted trees. Thus, the mathematical models for the variety and rootstock genotypes influence on quantitative traits in a grafted plant, primarily its productivity, was suggested for the first time. This model enables more accurate control of stable and effective yield production in perennial crops.
