Fruiting responses of Marroo seedless grape to GA3 and CPPU application

Study on the effects of gibberellic acid (GA3) at concentration of 25 and 50 ppm combination with 1-(2-chloro-4-pyridyl)-3-phenylurea (CPPU) at concentration of 1.5-5.0 ppm to berry and cluster size and quality of 'Marroo Seedless' grape at 10 days after full-bloom were conducted at Kanchanaburi Research Station, Kanchanaburi province during November 2009 to February 2010. The result showed that GA3 at concentration of 25 and 50 ppm mixed with CPPU at concentration of 1.5 to 5.0 ppm and 50 ppm GA3 alone gave higher berries and weight size, cluster and weight size and lower percentage of seed development than the untreated. The application of 50 ppm GA3 mixed with 5.0 ppm CPPU tended to show the best result of berries and cluster size. The application of GA3 at concentration 25 and 50 ppm mixed with CPPU at various concentrations and 25 and 50 ppm GA3 application gave lower TSS and higher TA than the untreated.
