English. In a course of the research there were studied comparison characteristics of Paddlefish (Polyodon spathula) and Lena sturgeon (Acipenser) underyearlings blood. It was ascertained that the Paddlefish blood as compared with the same of Lena sturgeon features high level of hematoglobulin and lymphocytes that was the evidence of better adaptation to the environment and was favorable for its resistance. No other significant differences in the blood of the said fish species were discovered, except increased monocytes content with Lena sturgeon. Thus, as follows from the above obtained hematologic indicators, fingerlings Paddlefish were more hardy and good adapted to the surrounding conditions. Blood of paddlefish fingerlings when compared with Lena sturgeon was characterized by higher levels of hemoglobin and lymphocytes against its smaller content in monocytes. Average hemoglobin concentration in paddlefish fingerlings was 13.2 g/l higher than that of sturgeon and amounted to 65.4 g/l, and at the same age Lena sturgeon fingerlings - 52.2 g/l in monocytes content 7.3% and 14.4%, respectively.
