Veterinary and technological methods of prevention of cattle diseases

The most important factors of intensification of animal husbandry in the Republic of Belarus are represented by the following ones: 1) reconstruction and technical modernization of the farms, 2) utilization of modern equipment and technologies, 3) increase of stability of feeding base, 4) improvement of animal genetic potential, 5) decline of production losses. Solution of above mentioned problems appear complex approach of herd management. The article deals with the most important veterinary and technological methods of prevention of cattle diseases. These methods have been developed taking into account changes in the technology of cattle keeping and use. The whole cycle of animal growing from the birth until the slaughtering has been embraced by the new technology. All the disorders emerging in animals (from dyspepsia of newborn calves till general disorders of adult milking cows) have been analyzed. The introduced recommendations will enable to organize the treatment of sick animals at modern level and increase the efficiency of the branch due to the reduction of diseases and at minimum costs.

Внедрение рекомендаций в производство позволит проводить ветеринарное обслуживание коров на современном уровне, повысить эффективность ведения отрасли за счет сокращения заболеваемости и с минимальными затратами.
