English. One of the most important problems of modern agriculture of the Republic of Belarus appears the necessity of production of plant protein, which deficiency leads to excessive consumption of compound feeds on 25-30% and overspend of 1 million of feed grain. Leguminous crops such as lupine, pea, soybean and others represent the cultivars with high content of digestible protein. The article considers and substantiates the structure of arable lands of such leguminous crops as yellow and blue lupine, field and green pea, soya, and perennial leguminous crops – red clover and eastern galega. Crop yield and structural elements of different lupine varieties has been analyzed for the period of 2011-2013. Productivity of soybean sorts in collection nursery has been evaluated during 2012-2014. Crop yield of red clover and eastern galega for the period of 2011-2014 has been measured. The results of the research on creation of new varieties and samples of yellow and blue lupine, soya, red clover and eastern galega are described.
