English. Swine breeding appears one of the most important branches of animal husbandry of the Republic of Belarus, supplying the population with qualitative and safety foodstuffs. It has been stated that crossing of animals of single-purpose with western type during fattening up to 120 kg of live weight allows receiving high level of productivity in the conditions of industrial technology. The article presents the results of studies on the yield of young pigs of different genotypes fattened up to heavy сonditions. Dynamics of live weight and average daily weight gain of swine youngsters of different genotype combinations has been evaluated. It’s established that among all the hybrids Pietren descendants demonstrate the highest yield, the difference between the weight gain of Pietren descendants and other hybrids being formed during the fattening period. The average weight gain per production cycle of pigs – Pietren descendants is 672 g, that is 86, 89 and 63 g more than Landrace, Yorkshire and Duroc descendants have (P less than 0.001).
