Calculation of flood wave parameters in the river below reservoir

English. The paper provides a methodology of calculation the movement of water flood wave in the river below reservoir. The system of equations: balance of flood and movement equation were solved by numeral method. The computer program has possibility to make a prognosis change of the river water level below reservoir. The authors gave an example of calculation for Vilia reservoir. It is proposed for the assessment of the risk of flooding areas downstream of the dam to use the method of calculating water levels in the river with a view of the transformation of high water in the reservoir. The initial data are hydrograph of escapages, resulting from the water balance equation in the reservoir while passing flood, and the parameters of the river bed. The technique is based on the solution of equations of unsteady flow in line with the flood plains. The procedure allows to evaluate the possibility of flooding of farmland and villages. A developed computer program allows you to simultaneously calculate the projected levels in the reservoir and in the river behind the dam for the given parameters of incoming hydrograph of flood of known supply and the mode of operation of the dam of spillway gates.

Russian. Приведена методика расчета прохождения волны половодья в реке ниже водохранилища. Система уравнений: баланса расхода и уравнение движения решена численным методом. Компьютерная программа позволяет сделать прогноз о изменении глубины в реке ниже водохранилища. В статье приведен пример расчета для Вилейского водохранилища. Предложено для оценки опасности затопления территорий ниже плотины использовать методику расчета уровней воды в русле реки с учетом трансформации паводка в водохранилище. Исходными данными являются гидрограф сбросных расходов, полученный из уравнения баланса воды в водохранилище при пропуске половодья, и параметры русла реки. Методика базируется на решении уравнений неустановившегося движения в русле с поймами. Методика позволяет оценить возможность затопления территорий сельхозугодий и населенных пунктов. Разработанная программа на ЭВМ позволяет одновременно рассчитывать прогнозные уровни в водохранилище и в реке за плотиной при заданных параметрах входного гидрографа паводка известной обеспеченности и режима работы затворов водосливной плотины.
