Efficiency of anhydrous ammonia application in agricultural crops for protection against pests

English. In a course of the research there was studied efficiency of anhydrous ammonia application in agricultural crops for protection against pests. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in 2014 in Minsk region. The results of anhydrous ammonia application evaluation on agricultural crop pests and soil entomophages were presented. It was determined that given agrotechnical technique had decreased plants severity by wireworms (for 33.6–77.4%), click beetles number caught by pheromone traps (for 16.0–78.8%), the negative influence on main soil entomophages density (for 21.0–71.8%) was also marked. Efficiency of application of anhydrous ammonia I potato and maize crops was presented. According to information received widespread use of anhydrous ammonia in agricultural production was not biologically justified.

Установлено, что данный агротехнический прием снижал поврежденность растений проволочниками (на 33,6–77,4 %), численность отловленных феромонными ловушками щелкунов (на 16,0–78,8 %), также отмечено негативное влияние на плотность основных почвенных энтомофагов (на 21,0–71,8 %). По полученным данным широкое использование безводного аммиака в сельскохозяйственном производстве является биологически необоснованным.
