Sensitivity of bifidobacterial species to different types of antibiotics

English. Nowadays the conception of bacterial therapy and bacterial prophylaxis with the help of probiotics (live microorganisms of normal intestinal biocenosis) appears a serious direction of human and animal disease’s prevention. Ability of normal flora rehabilitation with the help of Bifidobacteria is determined with physiological and biological properties of probiotic microorganisms. The main goal of the research presented in the article appears evaluation of the antibiotic resistance of 4 strains of bifidobacteria to the wide-spread antibiotics used in medicine and veterinary along with receiving of the strains possessing high resisnstance to antibiotics of different classes. Susceptibility of bifidobacteria (Bifidobacteria adolescentis MC-42, Bifidobacteria bifidum 791, Bifidobacteria longum B379M and Bifidobacteria adolescentis 91-BIM) to antibiotics differing in mechanism of action has been defined and proved to be the highest with respect to beta-lactam drugs and the least – to aminoglycoside group. Induced procedure of mutagenesis resulted in stable strains on bifidobacteria showing 12-25-fold increase in resistance to antibiotics of penicillin series and 2-10 times enhanced to cephalosporin as compared to wild-type cultures.

Russian. Исследована чувствительность четырех штаммов бифидобактерий В. adolescentis МС-42, В. bifidum 791, B.longum В379М и В. adolescentis 91-БИМ к антимикробным агентам с различным механизмом действия. Показано, что исходные штаммы бактерий наиболее чувствительны к (3-лактамным антибиотикам. Эритромицин и антибиотики тетрациклинового ряда также эффективно угнетают рост бифидобактерий. Наибольшую устойчивость указанные штаммы проявили к аминогликозидам. Методами спонтанного и индуцированного мутагенеза получены штаммы бифидобактерий, обладающие повышенной моно- и полирезистентностью к пенициллиновым антибиотикам (в 12-25 раз) и цефалоспоринам (в 2-10 раз). Штаммы бактерий сохраняют повышенную устойчивость к антибиотикам в течение длительного времени, что свидетельствует о стабильности полученного признака.
