Yield and sowing qualities of Indian barnyard millet seeds depending on seeding norms at various ways of crops

В статье представлены результаты исследований, проведенных в 2011-2013 гг. на дерново-подзолистой супесчаной среднеокультуренной почве Гродненской области, по установлению влияния норм высева (1-5 млн. всхожих семян на 1 га) на урожайность и посевные качества семян пайзы при рядовом и широкорядном способах посева. Оптимальные значения урожайности семян были получены при посеве с нормой высева 5 млн. всхожих семян на 1 га при рядовом и 1 млн. всхожих семян на 1 га при широкорядном способах посева. Наибольшая масса 1000 зерен пайзы отмечена в варианте с применением рядового способа посева при норме высева 5 млн.шт./га (3,7 г), тогда как при широкорядном способе посева нельзя было отдать предпочтение той или иной норме высева. По результатам определения посевных качеств семян пайзы разница между контролем и вариантами с применением норм высева 3, 4 и 5 млн. шт./га при рядовом и 1,2 и 3 млн. шт./га при широкорядном способах посева была недостоверной. При рядовом способе посева и норме высева 5 млн. шт./га отмечена существенно более низкая энергия прорастания семян, чем при посеве с нормой высева 3 млн. шт./га.

English. The article presents the results of investigations of the dependence between seeding rates (1-5 million viable seeds per 1 hectare) and the grain yield and seed qualities of Indian barnyard millet (Echinochloa frumentacea) while using narrow- and wide-row methods of sowing that were conducted in 2011-2013 on sod-podzolic loamy soils of Grodno region. The optimal parameters of Japanese millet grain yield were obtained with a seeding rate of 5 million viable seeds per 1 hectare while using narrow-row method of sowing and 1 million viable seeds per 1 hectare while using wide-row method of sowing. Maximum weight of 1000 seeds of Indian barnyard millet noted in the variant with the ordinary way of crops at rate 5 million units / ha (3,7 g), whereas in wide way of crops it was impossible to prefer one or another seeding rate. By results of definition of sowing qualities of Indian barnyard millet seeds the difference between the control and variants with application of seeding norms 3, 4 and 5 million units/hectare at the ordinary and 1,2 and 3 million units/hectare at wide ways of crops was unreliable. At an ordinary way of crops and seeding norm of 5 million units/hectare lower seeds germination energy is noted, than at crops with seeding norm of 3 million units/hectare.
